Bishop Richard Williamson: The Tinfoil Under the Skullcap

As Frank Cocozzelli notes in his recent article (http://www.talk2action.org/story/2009/1/24/15300/0665/Front_Page/The_Vatican_Reinstates_the_Far_Far_Religious_Right), the Pope has made peace with the schismatic Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), whose traditionalist bishops have now been re-admitted to the Catholic Church after accepting Papal authority, and whose members include the British Holocaust-denying Bishop Richard Williamson. Williamson wrote regular "letters" between 1991 and 2003, which can be perused at this website, in which he discourses on a range of subjects. Here's a taster - take a deep breath.

  2. #2    The Pius X society folks are sickening. Their hero, Archbishop Lefebvre, used to complain about people using things like earthen vessels for mass, after Vatican 2. He liked the frilly stuff, you know, all the Victoriana. That's what traditionalism is about today. People marry themselves to cultural traits many of which are lucky if they are a century old, but which are supposed to have been the only way things were ever done, since the dawn of time, until modernity decided to screw everything up. Jesus, at the Last Supper, put a lace doily under everything, naturally. Otherwise, it just wouldn't have been properly holy.
