   My late mother received a huge $420 per month in ss. She was forced to work, and at a certian point had to pay back money to ssi because she was earning too much according to their standards. She worked until dumbya cut medicare to the bone- and had to stop her chemotherapy or quit eating. That is really compassioinate conservatives at work.

2. #2    John McCain is the disgrace! There is NOTHING wrong with Social Security and that's why CROOKS, LIARS AND IDIOTS like McCain HATE it! Social Security not only pays its own way, it 'turns a profit', more accurately, positive cash flow. If the Congress were responsible and said NO to incompetent, lying crooks like Bush, Social Security would be in NO DANGER WHATSOEVER!
   
   What IS a disgrace is the fact that the GOP and the Bush administration in particular have brought the nation to the very brink of utter collapse. The fault is not SS but the GOP, idiots like John McCain and George W. Bush!
   
   I have REAMS AND REAMS of documentary evidence from BEA, Bureau of Labor Stats et al to back me up. I will debate McCain ANY DAY, ANY TIME!
