    That is one of the causes of corruption far deeper than campaign donations: the wealthy come to congress and increase the value of their investments, then when the leave, the not only become lobbyists, but board members and CEOs.

    This should be one of the first things people ask candidates: who have you worked for, who are you invested in, and how do I know you're going to work for the public good, not use office to line your pocket or that of a past employer?
