To get to Sesame Street, Turn Right

Bush recess appointed Warren Bell to the Board of Directors of the Corp. for Public Broadcasting. THE CPB was meant to be a buffer between public broadcasting and partisan politics, but under Bush it's steadily pushed for "conservative" slant. A writer for the National Review, Bell says he's so conservative he "strikes horror" in Hollywood hearts...and that he supports a woman's "right to choose" what movie to watch, "but not that other one." That would be her right over her own body.

  1. #1    There are quite a few recess appointments, a clear sign that Bush will keep on keepin' on and Democracy be damned.

  2. #2    Yes, he must be stopped and held accountable, SOON! I am going to be looking really deep into the activities of this next Congress.

  3. #3    You're already so "deep" you must have those Pelosi-stains all over you that this guy Bell was joking about. Who needs a Bell when his soul-mate SPARROWS is jumping all over Pelosi before she even assumes her new role? One thing is sure: our democracy doesn't depend on turd party-poopers jumping down dems' throats before they can even act. Mercifully.
