Cowboy Bush Is Scared of Horses?

This new nugget of info about our swaggering New England blue-blood faux-redneck president underscores why it is important to put quote marks around the word "ranch" when describing Pres. Bush’s vacation home in the hinterlands of Crawford, Texas. Former Mexican Pres. Vicente Fox says Bush once inadvertently revealed that he has a fear of horses, which may explain why the Bush "ranch" is horse-free.

  1. #1    But he does ride bikes well, when he's not falling off.

  4. #4    Remember the so-called Dude Rancher was born in Con-nec-ti-cut!! Not TEXAS! I laugh because one dude called in from Texas on a radio show and got after the talk show host for saying that Bush was from Texas. He told the host that Bush was not a Texan and never would be!

  5. #5    He does not have a clue as to what a real ranch does - he struts around like a banty rooster, with hsi "shock and awe", and his "Bring 'em on"....he has no scruples (probably has no clue what that or morals means) - rancher, bah!

  6. #6    The horses are actually afraid of him. I think he's some sort of werewolf.

  7. #7    He not only has contempt for the "common", but there is some indication that his Yale club steals the skulls of heroes of the people. There is speculation that they have had a hand in the deaths.
His family fortune was founded in the seventeen hundreds on the slave trade. So was Lloyd's of London. What began on the enslavement of others must have some serious karma.
Remember, this family sold arms to Germany after the outbreak of WWI and WWII.
Not only are they not Texans, they're not really Americans-- they're international financiers. His ranch in Paraguay is bigger than his ranch in Texas-- must be cozy down there with all those old Nazis. His dad owns a gold mine in Africa. He's not the first rich boy to miss what life is all about. Pitiful. I've heard he's pretty good at clearing brush, but I wouldn't hire him. Then again, maybe he fears horses because they can see what's in his heart.

  8. #8    Jockeys and trainers say that horses are somewhat telepathic. Makes sense--that kind of sensitivity would enhance survival chances for herd animals. I agree with efleming--horses probably don't like Bush.

Bush is a "pretend" cowboy. But the Republicans love "let's pretend." That's why I think they'll choose Fred Thompson for their candidate.

  9. #9    Bush has been pretending his whole life in an effort to live up to what his father did. He used to pretend he was a tough fighter jock, even though he never saw combat. He's now pretending that he's a cowboy. And, of course, for the last seven years he's been pretending to be a president.

  10. #10    At the moment I don't recall if it was Nero or Caligula who brought a horse into the Roman Senate, in disdain for that vestigial ceremonial body that was once the seat of the Republic...but if the Shrub wasn't afraid of horses, it would be an appropriate gesture today (actually appropriate any time since Truman's 1947 National Security Act). Maybe Hillary isn't afraid of horses.

  12. #12    It must be disconcerting for ol' George, seeing a horse's ass and thinking it's a mirror! Of course he's a faux rancher -- he can barely handle a chainsaw for a photo op. Bush Sr has a similar history of horse-shit (couldn't resist)! Remember his monogrammed cowboy boots, pork rinds, and telling a rodeo crowd, "Ah'm one of y'all"? The sad thing is that the majority of the people, and the media, actually believe this tripe. Especially in the Bushies' adopted state of Tex-ass! YEE-HAAA!!!

  13. #13    As a native born Texan I have always resented the Bush's pretensions. (I am too painfully aware of the terrible problems with my birthplace, so don't think that I am defending it against anything but carpetbaggers!)
This criminal family came here only for the votes of the gullible and because there is no state income tax.

BTW: Prescott B. was involved in breaking into the grave of Geronimo and stealing his skull and perhaps other bones.
