Max Cleland on the Forever War of the Mind

Max Cleland, who served his country as a soldier in Vietnam, losing three limbs in a grenade blast--went on to serve in peacetime in Congress as a spokesman for veterans. His op-ed about the shootings at Fort Hood is a call to action for America to truly support our troops.

  2. #2    Yes, all I did was paste the opening paragraph and a link. No comments can do it justice. Max Cleland not only writes eloquently and with authority about the toll of war on veterans, but about the toll of the war on the society they come home to.
