I guess I've been a "Truther" since September 13, 2001 -- after I got on line and did some research, followed up some hunches, and found myself reading about Special Force groups based in the Mid-East. There's a case to be made there. These clandestine units came to mind recently in relation to the assassination of the Hamas leader by the Mossad, supposedly -- who themselves are rumored to be part of the 9/11 scenario. I think one of the real reasons behind the furor to not have a civilian trial for the alleged 9-11 evil-doers is the possibility that much more of the truth would come out.

As usual, mikey ahas a talkingpoint that he uses to cram down any discussion that faces him with facts he can't handle, that show how little he understands the subject, so he diversts attention, shifts the argument onto bullsh!t.

1) show me and OFFICIAL AUTOPSY REPORT with Arab Names on it, DNA id'd as had been claimed. FACT: there are NO ARAB NAMES on the only official autopsy report of Fl 77. If you think so, produce that report. It was --in fact released upon an FOIA. NO ARABS on the list. Where is the prove they got on the plane. NONE!

2) SHOW ME FUSELAGE. Some officialists say it vaporized! BULLSHIT! I looked up the vaporization point of AL. According to NASA the VAPORIZATION point of AL is hotter than the surface of the sun. ERGO --NO AIRLINER STRUCK THE PENT. NONE. If you think so, produce an aluminum body or shut the fuck up about it.

Officialists also claim that DNA testing confirmed both passenger and 'hijacker' IDs. There are at least two things wrong with that assertion: 1) there are NO Arab names on the official autopsy report released to Dr. Olmsted in response to his FOIA; 2) if the fuselage vaporized as is claimed, then no DNA IDs would have been possible. DNA is often said to decompose when heated but, in fact, the effect is even worse: it literally melts. As heat is applied, bonds that join the two nucleotide strands may break.

'The two molecules [nucleotides] are stabilized in this structure due to noncovalent bonds, mostly hydrogen bonds and vanderWaals forces. These bonds are not strong; accordingly, when the temperature rises sufficiently, the double helix is said to "melt" into its two component molecules, and will reassociate upon slow cooling under appropriate salt conditions. At the 11000 degrees F required to 'vaporize' the fuselage, I dare say NO DNA would have survived, no DNA ids would have been possible at all. So --which is it? Did the fuselage vaporize or not? Were the DNA ids performed or not? The officialists simply cannot have it both ways.

Netanyahu appears to be weak and susceptible to pressures to say whatever it takes to appease those who could hurt him politically. The political system of Israel does not give their chief executive sufficient power to operate without constantly negotiating with various parties. I doubt we can ever completely suss out what he believes.

However, that won't stop us from setting an agenda and schedule and moving to establish Palestine or defining the West Bank as part of Israel as we (with U.N. support) see fit. Would Israelis enjoy a one-state solution where they may soon be in the minority? Would they enjoy a two-state solution with the Palestinian capitol in Jerusalem? It isn't in the nature of America to be punitive or sadistic, but in this case we might have to make an exception.

If insurance companies want to keep increasing their rates by 39% or 60% or any number they pick out of the air then it only proves the argument there is no real competition keeping prices down.

Sure sure, we need some kind of influence to restrain price increases in health CARE, but for now we should look at the insurers and ask them, "Do you want to have a business next year or would you rather retire and watch Medicare grow?"

Of course, it's hard to imagine how a Medicare buy-in could pass the bought Senate, but it's an interesting political response to the need of the public, the nation, America's businesses and to the recent crazy insurance companies.

A foriegn manufactuers tax of the difference between foriegn workers rate of pay and American pay in that industry times the mans hours in the product would pay for national health insurance. The difference is over $2,000 a month on average. Prices will not go up. China taxes exports 20% and you saw no rise at Wal-Mart.

So mikey, MediCare is not facing runaway inflation? It's not the biggest liability in our fiscal future? Then why does nearly every economist, and the various accounting parts of the USGovt, including the CBO agree that Medicare is facing exponential growth in it's cost? As is, without adding to it's rolls? They say it every time people start moaning about the future of Social Security. Did you not understand the statement? Did the latin throw you? Grayson's plan would probably reduce the amount of increase by widening the pool but without serious price controls on the doctors, hospitals, medical equipment manufacturers and drug makers, considering the age realm of MediCare's clientel, the cost of that program is set to rise much faster than inflation, by all accounts. If you have figures to the contrary, let's see them.
That doesn't mean that we shouldn't go that direction it just means we have to accept that it will raise our taxes. The incentive from a Taxpayers POV is that it would relieve them of the cost of 4P insurance.
And what do you figure will pay for Single Payer?
You don't want to make buying in mandatory and you don't want to raise taxes, what's your plan?
Basically, under Single Payer, our Treasury will be the Single Payer, that's our taxes. and right now, our Treasury is stretched a mite thin. Like a couple trillion in the red. To install Single Payer and build the new agency to operate it, upwards of 100,000 new Civil Servants, then to pay the Health costs for all of the American People, that's going to take a lot of money that we currently don't have. Now your choice will be: cut something else or raise taxes.
If it was up to me, the answer would be to halve the Pentagon budget. That would probably do it, as is, all done.
But if you think Single Payer got beat, write a bill that cuts 50% off of our Military expenditures and see how far you can get with that.
Wear a vest and helmet.
I await with baited breath the plan you have to get Single Payer funded. If its as realistic as your strategy for getting HR676 passed, it ought to be at least good for a real laugh.
